Learning from industry benchmarks and integrating innovation. On December 10, 2019, the Huawei Songshan Lake Base visit and exchange activity organized by Gemhorn Jewelry Training Center and led by General Manager Xiao Ping was successfully conducted. More than ten management cadres from various factories and departments of Gemhorn Jewelry participated in the event.

According to reports, Huawei's Songshan Lake Base "Xicun" is the new headquarters of Huawei's Consumer Business Group, with a total area of about 1,900 acres. This "European Town" built with 10 billion yuan adopts classic European architectural styles, replicating 12 European classic buildings from Luxembourg, Bruges, Paris and other locations. Each building here has its own characteristics, and each area is connected by dedicated Swiss-style trains.


 

Under the guidance of Huawei's relevant responsible persons, the exchange delegation first took special sightseeing vehicles and commuter trains to tour inside the scenic Xicun. As the exchange deepened, everyone was deeply impressed by this "European Town" with unparalleled lake views of Songshan Lake, as well as by Huawei's innovation strategy, forward-looking layout and humanistic care.



During the subsequent symposium, in-depth exchanges were conducted on topics including: the changes and constants under the framework of "Huawei Basic Law", Huawei's R&D personnel management and incentive models, corporate culture construction, and campus visiting systems.

General Manager Xiao Ping expressed sincere gratitude for the warm reception from Huawei staff.
