On November 13, 2018, the First Trade Union Member Congress of Gemhorn Jewelry's Lilang Branch was successfully convened at Lilang International Jewelry Park. Attended by 35 representatives, the congress elected 11 members to form the inaugural Trade Union Committee, Fund Review Committee, and Women Workers Committee. Zhu Dan, Chairman of Lilang Community Trade Union (Nawan Subdistrict), and Xiao Ping, General Manager of Gemhorn Jewelry, graced the event as honored guests.

The establishment of Gemhorn's Trade Union was made possible through the guidance of higher-level union authorities. During preparations, leaders including Lin Qingxiang (Chairman of Nawan Subdistrict Trade Union), Chu Moliang (Vice Chairman), Wu Ruida (Party Secretary of Xialilang Community), and Zhu Dan conducted multiple field visits to provide directives. With full corporate support, the preparatory team strictly followed the Trade Union Law to organize this historic congress within a month.

The agenda included a preparatory meeting (reviewing work reports and election rules) and a formal session (approving candidate lists for committees).

Through transparent voting and subsequent committee meetings:

• Huang Jianguo was elected as Chairman of the Trade Union Committee, with Zhou Peng as Vice Chairman.

• Wang Bo became Director of the Fund Review Committee.

In his acceptance speech, Chairman Huang emphasized: "The Trade Union exists to safeguard workers' rights, mediate labor-management relations, and foster unity through education. We aim to be the 'family' and 'advocate' for employees—addressing their concerns to the company's leadership."

Both Zhu Dan and GM Xiao Ping commended the preparatory team's efforts, congratulated the newly elected members, and expressed hopes for the Union to serve as a bridge between staff and management, driving institutional improvements and mutual growth.
