June 2023 marks China's 22nd National "Work Safety Month," with this year's theme being "Everyone Talks Safety, Everyone Can Respond." To enhance safety production knowledge and awareness, and improve risk identification and control capabilities, Gemhorn Jewelry organized over 40 production supervisors and frontline managers from its Plain Gold Factory, K-Gold Factory, Inlay Factory, and Gemhorn Fifth Factory to participate in fire safety education and practical activities at the Longgang District Fire Safety Publicity Station on June 20.
This training combined fire safety knowledge lectures with comprehensive practical drills, focusing on:
Identifying and eliminating fire hazards
Evacuation and escape knowledge
Usage of firefighting tools
Basic first aid knowledge
It is reported that Gemhorn Jewelry has always prioritized fire safety management, organizing annual fire drills for factory employees in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. Although participants already possessed certain fire safety knowledge, this theory-practice integrated training still proved highly beneficial.
During the theoretical training, through fire safety knowledge tests and watching fire safety warning videos, participants conducted in-depth analysis of actual fire incidents to understand causes, hazards, and emergency response plans.
